A fast growing perennial native California herb that can reach up to two feet tall. Yellow flowers bloom in the winter and spring. This plant goes deciduous in the summer. The flowers are nutritious- grind them, fry them, add them to salads, baked goods, etc. This plant produces a pollen that can produce an allergic reaction.
