California Buttercup

A fast growing perennial native California herb that can reach up to two feet tall.  Yellow flowers bloom in the winter and spring.  This plant goes deciduous in the summer.  The flowers are nutritious- grind them, fry them, add them to salads, baked goods, etc.

Plant with: Dodecatheon clevelandii (Shooting Star), Sisyrinchium bellum (Blue-eyed Grass), Trichostema lancolatum (wooly blue-curls)

- Full sun to part shade

- Attracts bees and butterflies

- Hardy up to 10 degrees
