Showy Penstemon

A fast growing perennial that grows up to four feet tall and wide.  Blue purple tubular flower clusters bloom in the winter and spring.  

Plant with: Sagebrush (Artemisia californica), San Diego Viguiera (Bahiopsis laciniata), California Encelia (Encelia californica), Buckwheat (Eriogonum fasciculatum), Manzanita species, Scrub Oaks, and various annuals such as California Poppy.
