Certified Organic Ashwagandha

A medicinal from India and Nepal, used as Ginseng.  Fruit will be ready to be picked when it is bright red in a papery husk, similar to tomatillos.  Plants grow up to three feet tall.  This plant is drought tolerant.  180 days to maturity.

Ashwagandha is believed to inhibit tumors in cancer patients.  This plant can help calm the brain, reduce swelling, lower blood pressure, and alter the immune system.  Ashwagandha is used as an adaptogen, which is helps the body resist physical and mental stress.  It promotes vitality, helps with focus and attention in adults, aids dementia.  

The roots and fruit are used medicinally.
