Calico Monkeyflower

A slow growing California annual that can reach about a foot and a half high. The flowers are white with maroon veins blooming winter through spring.  This mimulus is endemic to the woodlands and forests in Central California ranging from south of the Sierra Nevada to the Tehachapi Mountains in Kern county.  It is recommended to  pinch back new growth in spring to maintain a compact form and deadhead to increase flower production.
