Ficus Bonsai Ginseng

A very popular bonsai for beginners.  It has a thick trunk, often compared to ginseng root.  Fertilize every two weeks during summer, and every four weeks during winter if the growth doesn't stop. Prune regularly to maintain shape.  Prune two leaves every time the tree grows eight new trees.  Repot during spring every other year.  

- Full sun, bright direct light

- Water regularly

- Requires temperatures above 60 degrees
