Scientific Name: Drymocallis glandulosa
Common Name: Sticky Cinquefoil

A California Native perennial herb that resembles a strawberry plant.  It grows up to one and a half feet tall and one foot wide.   It grows in clumps, just like strawberries.  It goes deciduous in the winter.  White and yellow flowers bloom in the spring through fall.  
 

Plant in full sun to part shade

- Best in well drained sandy or clay soil

- Water no more than twice a month once established

- Attracts butterflies

- Great companion plant under evergreen oaks

- Hardy up to -15 degrees

- California Native
