Mexican Grass Tree

A succulent native to northeastern Mexico. It grows slow and will eventually grow up to fifteen feet tall. The leaves, which can be about six feet long are stiff and grow out of a large woody trunk. In the summer, a nine foot tall spike of small white flowers emerge from reddish buds.
