Common name: Incense Cedar

A California Native conifer that can reach a height of up to 200 feet tall and 50 feet wide!  It is a slow growing tree.  It will become drought tolerant if you deep soak it infrequently when it is immature.  It is a great tree for bank stabilization.  

Best to prune in the winter.

 

Care:

- Plant in full sun to part shade

- Prefers woodland soil and can tolerate serpentine soil

- Attracts butterflies

- Fire resistant

- Great for erosion control and bank stabilization

- Hardy up to -5
