Banksia prionotes

A small shrub or tree that can reach a height of up to twenty feet .  Orange flowers bloom Spring through Summer.  The flowers grow in a cylinder shape.  Cut flowers can be used for floral arrangements.  It is recommended to regularly prune flowers to encourage more flowering.
