Southern Maidenhair Fern
A California maidenhair fern can reach a height of two feet tall and wide. This fern grows along springs and stream banks. This plant can go dormant in summer if it receives too much light or not enough water.
Plant with: Oaks (Quercus species), Cottonwood (Populus species), Ponderosa Pine, California Fan Palm (Washingtonia filifera).
