Rhamnus californica 'Little Sur', Little Sur Coffeeberry

A California Native that is a compact evergreen that reaches a height of four feet tall and wide.  White flowers bloom in the spring and black berries in the fall.  This Coffeeberry is used as a shrub under oaks and hedge.  This plant produces a pollen that can produce an allergic reaction.

You can lightly pinch or prune at any time.  Can be sheared in spring for a formal hedge or screen.
