Early Moonbeam watermelons have a light-green skin with dark-green “tiger stripes”. The rind is very thin and the flesh is bright yellow, juicy, and very sweet. Very attractive to accent a red-fleshed melon like the Crimson Sweet. This variety does great in cooler climates where melons don’t usually mature. These little gems are very prolific and early producers of 6-10 lb. fruits! Open Pollenated (OP), 75-80 days. Heirloom.
