Tilden Park Snowberry

A Southern California snowberry and trip vine that is in the honeysuckle family.  It can reach up to four feet tall and eight feet wide.  It has round blue green leaves, pink flowers bloom in the spring.  The edible berries are said to taste like ivory soap.  This shrub is extremely tolerant of intense shade and heat.  A great slow growing ground cover and is used for bank stabilization.
