Salvia clevelandii 'Winifred Gilman', Winifred Gillman Sage

A shrub that grows up to five feet tall and wide with aromatic gray-green foliage and profuse golf ball-shaped clusters of electric blue-purple flowers.  The shrub blooms in late spring or early summer.  Prune in late fall to early winter by about a third or more for a young plant.  Once mature with woody stems prune only the tip.
