Desert Marigold

A California Native perennial sunflower that can reach a height of up to one and a half feet high and one foot wide.  Yellow flowers bloom in the spring through summer.  The flowers resemble a marigold, it is a great California Native flower replacement!  It goes semi deciduous in the summer through winter.  

Plant with: Creosote Bush (Larrea tridentata), Joshua Tree (Yucca brevifolia), Desert Lavender (Hyptis emoryi), Chuparosa (Justicia californica), Desert Agave (Agave deserti), California Fan Palm (Washingtonia filifera), Smoke Tree (Psorothamnus spinosus), Desert Willow (Chilopsis linearis), Jojoba (Simmondsia chinensis), and various cactus species
