Alocasia cucullata, Buddhas Palm

A heart shaped elephant ear.  An easy plant for both outdoors and indoors.  Alocsias are believed to bring good luck and are often decorated in Buddhists temples.  Fertilize once a month during spring and summer, growing season.  Alocasias go dormant in winter and the leaves drop.  Alsocasias are susceptible to spider mites, check the plant periodically.
