California copperleaf

A slow growing California native that can reach up to three feet tall and five feet wide.  It is a mounding evergreen with pink, white, and red flowers that bloom in the spring.

Plant with:  Chamise (Adenostema fasciculatum), California Buckwheat (Eriogonum fasciculatum), Chaparral Mallow (Malacothamnus fasciculatus), Brittlebush (Encelia species), Desert Agave (Agave deserti), Mojave Yucca (Yucca shidigera), Creosote (Larrea tridentata), Big Sagebrush (Artemisia tridentata), and cactus species

- Plant in full sun

- Irrigate occasionally to infrequently- maximum one time a month in the summer once established

- Hardy up to 30 degrees

- Native to Southern California
