A stunning native orchid found along streams, seeps, and moist canyon walls throughout California. Stream Orchid grows one to three feet tall, producing elegant arching stems with broad leaves and intricate pink, purple, and green flowers that bloom in spring through early summer. It is one of the few native orchids that can be successfully cultivated in garden settings with consistent moisture.
A rare and special plant for moist, shaded garden spots. Excellent near water features, rain gardens, or along seasonal streams.
Keep soil consistently moist. Avoid letting the root zone dry out completely.
