A shrub that grows up to three feet tall and wide. Red flowers with orange tips bloom winter through summer- the stigmas are sensitive and will close after they are touched. It has green sticky leaves. It is normal for the plant to go dormant and drop it's leaves in a summer dry garden. These plants will not tolerate excess summer water.
