Atriplex leucophylla, Beach Saltbush

Beach Saltbush

A California native ground cover that can spread up to five feet wide and a few inches high.  It is found in sandy areas along the coast from Fort Bragg down to Baja California.  It has green yellow flowers that bloom in the summer through fall. 

- Full sun to part shade

- Best in well drained soil

- Attracts butterflies

- Drought tolerant once established
