Acmispon argophyllus var. argenteus, Channel Islands Silver Lotus

Commonly found in many habitats including chaparral, and coastal sand and can grow up three feet tall and wide.  Related to deerweed and endemic to the Channel Islands.  The foliage is silvery with yellow flowers that bloom in the spring and summer.
