River Wattle

A fast growing tree that grows up to three feet tall and twelve feet wide.  Pale yellow flowers bloom in Spring.  The name Acacia comes either from the Greek word 'akazo' meaning "to sharpen" or from the Egyptian word 'akakia', a name given to the Egyptian Thorn, Acacia arabica.

- Best in well draining clay, sand, or loam soil
