This perennial herb can grow up to three feet tall and wide.  Yellow flowers bloom in the mid to late summer.  Fresh or dried rue can be used to repel insects- fleas, aphids, flies, fish moths, Japanese Beettles, slugs, snails, and onion maggots.  Rue is a medicinal herb that can aid headaches, muscle spasms, cramps, arthritis, and problems with the nervous system.
