Tagetes lemmonii (Mexican Marigold)

Mexican marigold

A fragrant bushy evergreen shrub that grows up to six feet tall and spreads up to ten feet wide.  Daisylike orange/gold flowers that bloom year around.  Prune at any time for best shape or to control size.

- Plant in full sun or light shade

- Well-drained soil, tolerates clay and fairly non-fertile soils

- Too much water or too little light produces leggy plants that don't bloom well.

- Attracts bees and butterflies

 -Drought tolerant

- Deer resistant

- Hardy up to 18 degrees

- Native to Arizona
