Sensitive Plant, shameplant, sleepyplant, shy plant

A sensitive plant!  When touched the fern like leaves fold inward.  It has pom pom purple flowers.  A low maintenance house plant.  This plant can grow quickly, at first it grows upwards then into a bush.  It can reach a height of up to a foot and a half.  This plant is susceptible to spider mites, mealybugs, thrips, and mimosa webworms, so check your plant regularly!

- Best in well drained soil

- Keep soil moist

- Native to tropics of South America
