Menzies' golden bush, coastal goldenbush

A sage subshrub that grows up to three feet tall and five feet wide.  It is semi deciduous in the summer.  Yellow flowers bloom spring through fall.  

Plant with: Verbena (Abronia sp.), Sagebrush (Artemisia californica or pycnocephala), Morningglory (Calystegia macrostegia or soldanella), PrimRose (Camissoniopsis sp.), Cobweb Thistle (Cirsium occidentale), Clarkia sp., Seacliff Buckwheat (Eriogonum parvifolium), Western Wallflower (Erysimum capitatum), Lupine (Lupinus sp.), and Cardinal Catchfly (Silene laciniata)

Plant in full sun to part shade

- Best in fast to medium draining sandy soil

- Water twice a month once established

- Attracts butterflies and bees

- Hardy up to 0 degrees
