This grass features dense bunches of chalky blue leaf blades that are ten to twelve inches tall with grass flowers rising up to twelve inches above the foliage.  A selection from the Berkeley Botanic Garden.   This plant produces a pollen that can produce an allergic reaction.

- Best in well-drained soil, occasional to infrequent irrigation
