A California Native succulent that can be found in San Luis Obispo and Santa Barbara.  It can reach up to eight inches tall.  Pink, orange, and red rosettes bloom in the spring through summer.  It is summer deciduous.

you can remove flower stems as needed and leave dry foliage alone-it helps stabilize the plant.
