A rare California Native succulent endemic to Santa Rosa Island, one of the Channel Islands. It can reach up to eight inches tall. Green, white rosettes bloom in the spring through summer. It is summer deciduous. This plant is going extinct because the deer on the island like to eat it.
You can remove flower stems as needed and leave dry foliage alone-it helps stabilize the plant.
