This shrub grows up to two feet tall and spreads to about eight feet wide. This a great slope cover. The purple blue flowers with a fragrant scent of rose lavender bloom in late spring to early summer. The gray-green foliage turns light gray through season. Prune after blooming. Remove dry flower stalks, and cut back approximately one-quarter of new growth to reshape. It is susceptible to powdery mildew. Avoid placing in moist or damp gardens and areas with overhead irrigation.
