California native Creeping Wild Rye

A native gray-blue evergreen grass that spreads by rhizomes.  If watered regularly this grass can reach up to three feet tall and wide. Cut the grass back to the ground in the fall.  This plant produces a pollen that can produce an allergic reaction.
