Designed to be placed indoors and out, cast and finished by hand in Los Angeles. Made of pigment infused, glass-fiber reinforced concrete. The tone and finishes are particular to each piece, reflecting their hand made quality.  They present a play of materiality by appearing at once smooth and rough, heavy and buoyant.

Jerome Byron is an American architect-designer based in Los Angeles, California. He designs environments shaped by an avid interest in cultural pressures, material conditions and collective knowledge. His approach is defined by a rigorous working method that yields playful discovery and unexpected forms, shifting expectations for the possibilities of a space or program. A hands-on knowledge of contemporary construction methods and craft along with an intuitive design sensibility inform his process. Bold shapes, rich colors and lush textures define his palette.

Jerome received his Master of Architecture degree from Harvard’s Graduate School of Design in 2014 and a Bachelor of Architecture degree from Pratt Institute in 2010. Over the past 10 years he has spent time working in Los Angeles, New York and Berlin, most notably at the offices of Francis Kéré and Barkow Leibinger.
