Salvia sonomensis, Creeping Sage

A creeping fragrant evergreen California Native sage that grows up to one foot tall by fifteen feet wide.   The foliage is comprised of deeply wrinkled gray-green leaves.  Blue-purple flowers bloom in early spring.  Prune back young plants regularly in the first year to encourage long-term development of a strong bushy structure.
