Salvia clevelandii, Cleveland Sage

A fast growing highly aromatic species of the sage.  Grows up to four feet high and eight feet wide with aromatic gray-green foliage and profuse golf ball-shaped clusters of electric blue-purple flowers.   Prune bush in late fall back to one third or more when the plant is young.  When the plant has reached maturity prune only the tips.
