Hollyleaf Cherry

A California Native tree or shrub that can reach a height of 40' tall and 20' wide.  Small white and purple flowers bloom in the winter and spring.  It has dark purple berries and holly like leaves.  Can be used for bank stabilization and hedges.  This plant produces a pollen that can produce an allergic reaction.

You can pinch or prune lightly if you want to grow this into a hedge or screen in the late storing after flowering.
