Slipper plant

An upright succulent that grows up to eight feet tall and four feet wide.  It branches from the base and has narrow cylindrical green stems with red flowers that bloom in the spring and summer.  The sap is toxic and can cause irritation on skin and vomiting if ingested.

 

Plant in full sun to light shade

- Best in well-drained soil

- Drought tolerant

- Extreme heat tolerance

- Hardy up to 25 degrees

- Great in containers
