This native evergreen honeysuckle grows up eight feet tall and twenty feet wide.  Yellow flowers bloom in the spring and summer and the red or yellow berries are edible.  This plant is commonly used as a hedge, ground cover, or for bank stabilization.   The best time to prune this plant is in the winter.
