Yellow Conebush

 An evergreen shrub that is a vigorous, compact grower.  It can reach a height of up to six feet tall and wide. The "flowers" are composed of bright clean yellow bracts that surround the central female cone on vigorous long stems during winter and spring.  Prune well after flowering to ensure a sturdy plant.
