Trees for Altadena

Posted by Plant Material on

On December 13-14 at the Winter Market in Altadena we will be giving out FREE trees to the Altadena/Pasadena community affected by the Eaton Fire!

We will have an assortment of trees, from California natives to other stellar options to plant this season.

Re-establishing our tree canopy is going to take an effort from all of us. But we're not alone. We reached out to our growing partners to secure a various assortment of donated trees.  We will be distributing these trees on December 13-14 from 11am - 4pm at Plant Material in Altadena.  We took whatever we could get our hands on, and are so grateful for the support from our network of growers. Altadena loves you!

The assortment ranges from mostly California native trees to other regionally appropriate species, all of which will be listed on our site. After filling out the Google Doc form below, you will be sent a link that will give you access to the collection of free trees. We will be validating each submission before sharing the link so please be patient as we go through the submissions. The validation will not be immediate and can take up to 24hours.

Once on the site, you can select the 2 trees you would like and place them in your cart. Checkout as you would normally, entering the required details. No credit card will be required as the order will show as free. As long as you select from the free collection! The orders will be organized for distribution and pick up on the 13th and 14th!
