Dryopteris erythrosora 'Brilliance' (autumn fern)
Japanese shield fern or Autumn Fern
This fern grows up to 30" tall and wide. Bright orange fronds mature to dark green. Dryopteris is translated from the Greek as "oak fern" and erythrosora translates as "red sori", referring to the spore-bearing structures on the undersides of the leaflets.
