Join local Botanical Printer and Natural Dyer Linda Illumanardi and learn which local leaves will give you the most reliable prints. Linda comments, “My journey has been a wonderland of surprises in our local foothills. Years ago I was infatuated with sheer, see-through fibers and was told chiffon wasn’t dense enough to hold the leaf pigment. I didn’t believe it for a minute. Join me at this lovely local venue for a few hours of playful exploration! I LOVE printing and dyeing on the silk chiffon!”

Participants should wear play clothes and bring a water bottle, and a tablet or notebook if they wish to take notes.

Please feel free to bring a few leaves to try from your own garden! We will have a one hour lunch break while our scarves are processing.
