Arrow Leaf Buckwheat
A rare species of buckwheat that grows up to two feet high and wide. Yellow flowers that bloom from spring through summer. Plant on dry, well drained shallow slopes or flats, and surround with plenty of mulch or rocks.
Plant with: Coast Prickly Pear Cactus (Opuntia littoralis), Coast Cholla (Cylindropuntia prolifera), California Encelia (Encelia californica), White Sage (Salvia apiana), Purple Sage (Salvia leucophylla), Yucca species and Dudleya species
